Service Manual: a rather complete OEM service manual (15.5MB pdf file size). Scan quality was very good, accept for a few circuit board diagrams that were dark; Zooming, however, clarified the image. Has the required information for servicing the LD Player.

Cause Radio stations cannot � The antenna is positioned or connected be tuned in. poorly.
Symptom
Correction � Connect the antenna securely. � Adjust the antennas and connect an external antenna if necessary.
� The signal strength of the stations is too weak (when tuning in with automatic tuning). � No stations have been preset or preset stations have been cleared (when tuning by scanning preset stations). The remote control does not work properly. � The remote control is not pointed at the remote sensor of the DVD Home Theater System. � The remote control is too far from the DVD Home Theater System. � There is an obstacle in the path of the remote control and the DVD Home Theater System. � The batteries in the remote control are flat. The front panel display is too dim. � Nothing is displayed on the front panel display.
� Tune in the station manually.
� Preset the stations (page 37).
� Point the remote control at the remote sensor of the DVD Home Theater System. � Use the remote control within about 20 ft (6 m). � Remove the obstacle.
� Replace the batteries with new ones. � Press DIMMER on the remote control.
